Think Pink! Support the Fight

For those in the cancer community, October doesn’t mean Halloween, or football, or changing leaves. October means “Pink,” and the big push for breast cancer awareness.

The long-standing awareness campaign definitely means different things to different people. For some, it’s about celebrating strength and survival. For others, advocacy and a push to educate people about the realities of breast cancer, particularly metastatic disease.

As a part of Breast Cancer Awareness, Texila American University students participated in the Pinktober event organised by GTT in Durban park in Guyana on 26th October, 2019.
