New Student Orientation Program

  •   9th September, 2019

Texila American University welcomed approximately 50 local, regional and international students for the year 2019/2020. A series of welcome events and tools were organized to ensure a fun-filled integration period for all students.

To kick things off, a three-day orientation was organized to help new students feel appreciated and at home on the university’s campus.

  • Day 1 - Students were greeted by staff and taken on a campus tour in-order to help them familiarize themselves with the infrastructure and facilities allowing for easy access and manoeuvrability.
  • Day 2 - Students interacted with the Student Council and some senior students to learn about campus life through the lens of students just like them.
  • Day 3 - Students interacted with the Faculty Team and the staff of the university to discuss school policies. Additionally, parents were invited to a separate orientation programme to discuss a broad range of topics and issues that students face today. This programme helps build cordial relationships between parents and the University and helps them recognize the issues in transition that are equally important, if not greater than, the academic side of university life.
Following this, welcome services and events are organized throughout the year.
