Admission Requirements for Masters in Public Health

Texila American University takes pride in the students being admitted into it’s Masters in Public Health program. To ensure that quality in admissions is being maintained, a stringent checklist is followed while considering if the students are capable of handling rigorous courses and training. The students are expected to meet the eligibility standards in order take up a degree in medicine and to pursue their preferred program at Texila.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public health/health sciences / paramedical science /life science/ social work from recognized university
    (or)
  • Qualification from any recognized body with level equivalent to bachelor’s qualification + at least 3 years of work experience in health sector
  • Bachelor in other areas such as finance, social studies can also be considered based on work experience in public health sector on a case-to-case basis
  • Education gap not more than 10 years.

Transfer Students

TAU welcomes students previously enrolled in another recognized University with Public health/health sciences / paramedical science /life science/ social work to apply for admission with advanced standing, provided they meet all the requirements for admission into the College of Public Health.

TAU accepts maximum of 30 credits (Masters) transfer candidate should qualify assessment examination and panel interview.
