Emotional intelligence is defined as the ability to understand and manage one’s own emotions to relieve stress. Working from home, homeschooling, being isolated, being away from family, etc., have become routine during the pandemic. The situations mentioned above can induce high levels of stress, and it is crucial to take care of our mental health.
Dr. Dheeraj Bansal spoke in detail about how emotions and the ability to manage mental health is very crucial. He mentioned the various issues plaguing the pandemic lifestyle and assured everyone that things would get better once the COVID-19 vaccination becomes mainstream. He also gave tips on understanding and managing emotional fatigue and stress that everyone faces because of staying indoors for an extended time. He tells the viewers how the children must know what is going on around them to cope with the changes that they are facing.
