I am immensely grateful to introduce myself as a student of Texila American University. I am Dr. Pavithra Muruganathan, graduated in August 2020. I have completed my medical degree with flying colors and been awarded the “Second Best Graduate.” As a cherry on top, in December, I have cleared the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), India, in my first attempt with 210 marks.
I would like to dedicate my success to my parents and Texila American University. I thank the institute and the faculty for all their efforts. Besides passion, I have to persevere and work hard to make the moves in the right direction, and it has finally paid off. It is my privilege to say that I have completed my medical degree with one of the world’s renowned medical universities, located in Guyana.
TAU is the place where I gained confidence, medical knowledge, and clinical skills needed to excel in the medical industry. TAU has helped me maintain the same level of energy and enthusiasm right from day one till my last day. Without TAU and my professors, I don’t think I can become what I am now.
My sincerest thanks to all the TAU lectures and GPHC doctors for dedicating their time and energy and showering their tremendous love and support. They helped me a lot and clarified my silly doubts without any hesitation, even during their break time. All those learning helped me not only complete my medical degree but also clear the FMGE with good marks.
Each moment was full of life at the college campus. Each day began with a new life and ended with a new lesson. I enjoyed each moment of my life there to the fullest, not because it’s good or bad but because it will not come again.
You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses. So is life. Either you complain about it or enjoy it, but life has to move on. It’s always today that you cherish tomorrow. We always wait for the future to come, and once it comes, we miss our past. Enrich your present with your efforts and the best shots to make it memorable and cherishable.
I have done my best during my study time at TAU and gained all the possible learning. Now, I have achieved what I want. I am indebted to my parents and TAU for being by my side throughout my journey toward becoming a doctor in India. I have a long way to go in this medical career. But I have started it with a strong foundation.
I wish everyone at TAU pursuing medicine all the very best!
