Georgetown Public Hospital

Georgetown Public Hospital is the largest hospital in Guyana. It is a government-run hospital with more than 25 years of experience in training the doctors and has over 600 beds and additional 400 bedded clinical facilities available for the student training throughout the country.

 

New Amsterdam Hospital

New Amsterdam Hospital, Guyana is an outstanding example of timber architecture, and one of the two surviving architectural masterpieces. Construction commenced in late 1881 with funds provided to the Public Works Department by the colonial administration. The hospital was occupied in 1885.

 

St. Joseph Mercy Hospital

Texila American University had signed the agreement with the St. Josephs Mercy Hospital in Guyana for the Clinical Rotations. St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, known locally as "Mercy" is a 70-bed general hospital located in the Kingston area of Georgetown, Guyana. Founded by a group of local Catholic citizens in 1942, the Sisters of Mercy were invited to establish and run the hospital. West Demerara Regional Hospital

West Demerara Regional Hospital (WDRH) is a 262 bedded hospital that serves as the referral hospital in Region Three, offering medical service to thousands of people residing on the West Coast, West Bank, as well as the Essequibo islands including Leguan and Wakenaam. Walter Sisulu University (WSU)

Texila American University (TAU) and Walter Sisulu University (WSU) in South Africa have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), South Africa to offer Elective Rotations for the students upon completion of the Premedical ad Preclinical of the Doctor of Medicine program. Walter Sisulu University (WSU) was established on 1st July, 2005 and was named in honor of an icon of the South African liberation struggle, the late Walter Max Ulyate Sisulu who was a close comrade of Nelson Mandela. Walter Sisulu University has over 150 partnerships with other universities, institutes, organizations and departments in the public and private sectors, locally, nationally and internationally.
